The ultimate DFW bucket list for autumn.
Well, we’ve made it! The season of apple picking, cider donuts, BOO! and pumpkin spice everything. I LOVE FALL.
The first day of autumn hits and we’re all different people, I swear. I never drink coffee, but on September 22 you can find me in line at Starbucks to grab my PSL to kick start the day (pro tip: add a shot of pumpkin to a chai tea latte if you’re more of a tea girl like me!).
Besides my family & friends, the thing I miss the most about living in Illinois is the fall. The changing leaves, the crisp air, going to an orchard and doing all of the activities! Each year, I research “apple and pumpkin farm near Dallas” and each year I am greatly disappointed.
However, I’m embracing Texas’ version of fall this year and adding these fun things to my bucket list!
Visit Dallas’ Arboretum Pumpkin Village (top 25 best pumpkin patches in the US!)
Eat a Fletcher’s Corn Dog at the Texas State Fair
Have Trick-Or-Treaters (finally in a house for Halloween!)
Do something scary… Maybe a ghost tour in Grapevine?! Cutting Edge Haunted House is one of the “scariest attractions in the US!)
Go to Pumpkin Nights at Howell Farms
Watch a Movie at Klyde Warren Park
Oktoberfest!!!
Go on a hike
Carve pumpkins
Find APPLE CIDER DONUTS!!!
Always,
Alina Ann
